Basketball cauk Clubs at Quilters

At Quilters we run early morning, lunch time and after school Basketball clubs, run by Champions Academy. This is a fee paying club and we enter teams from year 4,5 and 6 into 'Prime Time' league which is held once a month at Shenfield School Sports Centre.

Gymnastics Club

Premier Sports runs our gym club. They provide opportunities for all ability levels to work towards and achieve badges and certificates. The club runs on a Thursday morning 8:00am - 8:45am in the school hall. This is a fee paying club.

Extra -Curricular Football at Quilters
We have an outside agency running our extra-curricular football. This is held on a Tuesday afternoon 3:15 - 4:30 and has a small weekly charge payable to 'Coerver' directly.

Tag Rugby at Quilters
Tag is an exciting way of introducing children, not only to rugby but also to teamwork, co-operation and fun in a sporting context. Teams are mixed - boys and girls. We embrace both union and league forms of the game. We enter local competitions and leagues when they are available. We are proud of the personal successes that all children involved have achieved.

Hi 5 Netball
This is the under 11 version of netball and is a team sport for both boys and girls in years 5 and 6. We have had great success over the years in competitions entered. Club runs on a Friday morning 8:00am - 8:45am. This club is run by Miss Cobb and Mrs Chappell.

Karate
This Club is run by the Yushikai Karate Academy and includes lessons in safety and life skills, as well as physical martial arts skills. These skills help the students become well rounded by promoting the child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
The Karate Club runs on a Friday morning at 8:00-8:45. There is a charge for this club.

Spanish
Spanish is on Mondays at 12:30-1pm for Year 5 and 6 students and is run by Miss Trotter.

French
This language club is run by an external teacher and is open to all years. French runs on a Tuesday (Beginners) at 12:20-1:00pm and Thursday (other levels) 12:30-1:00pm. There is a charge for this Club.

Choir
The School Choir is open to all who enjoy music and singing. The Choir is on Mondays at 3:15-4:15pm and is run by Mrs Hammond.

Ocarina
Ocarina is a fun music club using the Ocarina instrument. The Ocarina is an ancient flute-like wind instrument and the modern version is very easy to play. This club is open to year 4 students and is run by Mrs Hammond on Tuesdays at 12:30-1:00pm.

Orchestra
The Orchestra runs on a Tuesday at 3:15-4:00pm and is taken by Mrs Cheeseman.

D.T. Club

D.T. club is open to years 3 and 4.The childen involved spend time designing and making a variety of fun items which have included fridge magnets, Chinese laterns, pop up puppets and lots more. D.T. Club is on Mondays at 12:30-1:15pm and is run by Mrs Fitzgerald.

Cross Stitch
Cross Stitch club is open to a limited number of year 4 students with an interest in needlecraft and embroidery. This Club is run by Mrs Ferry on Tuesdays at 3:25-4:15pm.

Map Detectives
Map Detectives is on Mondays at 12:30-1pm and is run by Mr Jones. Map Detectives is open to all year groups.

ALF
This club is About Life and Faith and is run by the School's Ministry on Wednesdays at 12:20-1:00pm.

Magazine Club
This Club is open to years 5 and 6. The student work together to produce a school magazine. This Club run on a Thursday at 12:30-1:00pm and is taken by Mrs Thompson.

Art Club by Invitation

The Art Club is run my Mrs Dodd on Thursdays at 3:15-4:15pm for Students with a Flair for art. This Club is by Invitation only.

Science Club
The Science Club is open to year 5 students interested in all aspects of Science. It is run by Miss Hales on Thursdays at 3:15-4:15pm.

Bedazzle

A Performing Arts Club which aims to increase confidence, inspire creativity and improve comminication skills.
This is held on Fridays from 15:30 - 17:00 and is open to all year groups.
